The one-stop shop for financial solutions, OPN Holdings Co., Ltd. (doing business as Opn), announced a strategic alliance with BigPay, a well-known Malaysian e-wallet and mobile wallet platform that recently made its official Thai debut.
The purpose of this partnership is to enable smooth electronic payments as BigPay enters the Thai market.
One of the platforms operated by MOVE Digital, the parent company of Capital A, which owns AirAsia, is BigPay. With more than 1.5 million registered users, BigPay, which was established in 2017 and has its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has quickly emerged as one of the region’s major e-wallet players.
In response to the growing demand from consumers for digital wallets and cashless transactions, BigPay is now entering the Thai market after experiencing success in Malaysia and Singapore.

“We are thrilled to partner with BigPay and support their expansion into Thailand. Our mission is to provide the most stable and seamless payment solutions, and we are confident that our collaboration with BigPay will significantly enhance Thailand’s digital payment landscape even further,” said Ezra Don Harinsut, co-founder and president of Opn.
Opn has been chosen as a partner to provide consumers the convenience of topping up their wallets directly from mobile banking applications. This partnership takes use of Opn’s proficiency in effortlessly integrating many banks at once.
Apirudee Prachyaset, BigPay Country Head, Thailand, added, “We are excited to bring BigPay to the Thai market and offer financial services to Thai consumers. BigPay is an e-wallet application that comes with the BigPay Visa Platinum prepaid card, which users can use to make payments worldwide. The process of topping up the card is one of the key steps that needs to be convenient and secure for users. Our collaboration with Opn will enable us to provide a seamless top-up experience, as well as meet the growing demand for cashless payments in Southeast Asia.”
BigPay, which offers travel payment options that easily integrate with the AirAsia MOVE app, has released its app for Thai users. The software also has tools like Analytics, Roundup, and Stash that are intended to help users in Thailand with their finances.
