Pet care startup Supertails has raised $30 million (₹271.7 crore) in its Series C funding round, led by Venturi Partners. The round also included new investors such as Nippon India Alternative Investments and Titan Capital, along with continued support from existing investors Fireside Ventures, RPSG Capital Ventures, Sauce VC, and Saama Capital.
The company plans to use this funding to expand its network of pet clinics. Supertails aims to increase the number of clinics in Bengaluru to 15 in the near term and grow to around 100 clinics across India over the next three to five years.
Apart from clinics, Supertails will invest in improving its quick delivery service. This includes opening more dark stores, upgrading its products and data tools, and strengthening operations. The startup plans to handle nearly 80% of quick pet product deliveries in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR by March 2026.
Vineet Khanna, Co-founder, Supertails, said: “Pet care in India is evolving into a much larger ecosystem opportunity. We’re seeing a clear shift from pet ownership to pet parenting, where people want consistent support across nutrition, health, grooming and everyday decisions. Our focus is to build the rails for this category — clinics, vets, fast access to essentials, and personalised guidance informed by a pet’s life stage. This funding helps us scale our ecosystem responsibly, while continuing to improve how pet parents experience care.”
Sarvesh Nevatia, Managing Director at Venturi Partners, commented: “Globally, successful pet-care platforms like Chewy have shown that the category is built on trust, repeat behaviour and deep customer engagement. In India, this evolution is just beginning. What stood out with Supertails was its customer-first approach, strong execution capabilities and steady improvement in business fundamentals. We are excited about the partnership and believe Supertails is well positioned to play a defining role in shaping how pet care scales in India.”
Founded in 2021 by Khanna, Varun Sadana, and Aman Tekriwal, Supertails is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) pet care startup. It sells pet food, toys, and other pet accessories online.
Along with products, Supertails also provides online vet consultations, training services, pharmacy support, pet clinics, and at-home pet care. The company has a team of 300+ employees and works with over 100 veterinarians.
In January, Supertails launched a quick delivery service, allowing customers to get pet supplies, medicines, vet consultations, and grooming services within 30 minutes.
