Plane, an open-source project management platform situated in India, revealed that it had received $4 million in funding from OSS Capital as part of a seed round.

Plane, an open-source project management platform situated in India, revealed that it had received $4 million in funding from OSS Capital as part of a seed round.

It said in a statement that this investment will support the company’s community expansion and enable it to compete in the highly sought-after enterprise category.

It addresses the most frequently requested features for simpler instance governance, security, and performance, and is tailored for both new and seasoned it’s admins at these organisations.

“As a first step, Plane One is designed ground-up for growing businesses that need essential tools to manage their projects and their instance better without being locked into ongoing software as a service pricing commitments,” he added.

Vamsi and Vihar Kurama founded it in November 2022 with the goal of streamlining projects for teams of all sizes in a variety of industry verticals by making it adaptable and simple to use.
