Playbook Partners, an India-based Growth Capital (GC) firm, raised approximately $130 million from reputable international investors in Singapore, Europe, the US, the Middle East, and India, and completed its first closure in less than four months.

Playbook Partners, an India-based Growth Capital (GC) firm, raised approximately $130 million from reputable international investors in Singapore, Europe, the US, the Middle East, and India, and completed its first closure in less than four months.

The fund is utilizing the green shoe option and has the potential to grow to $250 million in response to significant interest from institutional investors.

The company stated in a statement on Tuesday that Playbook will collaborate with growth-stage, tech-enabled companies in sizable addressable markets that have significant scale, strong operational margins, and rapid expansion.

Vikas Choudhury, a seasoned professional, entrepreneur, and investor, founded and leads Playbook. He has held executive positions at major international public firms like Reliance Jio and Aimia Inc. and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in building profitable, large-scale Indian and international businesses in the digital economy.

Among the notable startups in his extensive investment portfolio are ten unicorns, as well as notable IPOs and exits like inMobi, Myntra, Fractal, Nazara, PolicyBazaar, and Rapido.
