Professional Career To Educational Journey

Muhammad Omer Khan’s story begins from his early days as a midfielder for the under-21 and under-23 national football teams of Pakistan. However, his love for games was undeniable, but his parents wanted their son to have a traditional career path.

Urged to choose a professional career over sports management, Muhammad followed his parents’ advice. Leaving behind his career as a professional football player, he packed his bags and set off for London to embrace a new beginning.

Finally, in 2010 he began his educational journey, pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. This moment was the turning point that shaped his future.

It was not as simple as it looks to start an educational journey, leaving his passionate professional career behind, especially after a certain age. However, he didn’t stop himself, and at a pivotal age, he moved to London to pursue chartered accountancy. He stayed at the institution until 2012, completing his studies there.

Muhammad’s Next Move

Driven by ambition, he went back to Pakistan and worked for Ernst & Young from 2014 to 2017. Spotting greater opportunities, Muhammad set his sights on Dubai, where he joined EMPG Group under the Bayut brand.

As a sales consultant, he excelled in client relations, led high-performing sales teams, launched impactful campaigns, and crafted strategies to outpace competitors. With each success, Muhammad was thriving in his fast-paced, high-flying career.

Meanwhile, Muhammad navigated his corporate career and took a more in-depth look at the books of the company. Although the records were not the most refined, the real issue wasn’t in the records—it was in the cash flow. It was a frustrating gap that every order that was placed indicated that there would be a delay of 10 to 15 days before the cash arrived. It wasn’t just a delay; it was a roadblock.

After facing this disappointing experience, Muhammad was clear that the system was slow & inefficient, which prevented cash from reaching merchants on time. After understanding the whole process, he realized that the outdated processes posed a significant obstacle —that required to be fixed.
