  • The round was led by Rua Growth Fund, with participation from Jo Academy, 500 Global, Bunat VC and Fikr Ventures.
  • The company will use its funding to expand its AI-powered education solutions across the region.

The funding round was led by Rua Growth Fund, with participation from Jo Academy, 500 Global, Bunat VC and Fikr Ventures. Jo Academy also joined as a strategic investor, bringing its experience in education and digital learning.

AILA develops technology that helps students learn at their own pace and according to their individual needs. Its platform identifies areas where students are struggling and provides personalized lessons and practice based on their progress.

The platform also helps teachers and school leaders understand how students are performing. This allows them to identify learning gaps and provide extra support where needed.

AILA offers products such as AILA Tests, an AI-powered platform that helps schools provide personalized exam preparation, and AILA Labs, the company's research and development centre focused on creating and testing new AI solutions for education.

“This investment lets us bring personalized, AI-native learning to more students at a moment when education systems across the region are rethinking what's possible with technology.” said Yousef Alsayed, CEO of AILA.

"Arabic-speaking students deserve learning experiences built for them, not just translated for them. AILA is leading the way in the region, building AI-native education from the ground up, and their traction with Saudi schools speaks volumes of its strong product-market fit. We invested in AILA because we believe the future of EdTech in this region will be built here, by local innovators like AILA." said Alaa Jarrar, CEO, Jo Academy.

AILA is building an AI-native assessment platform that helps schools and teachers understand each student’s proficiency, identify learning gaps, and focus support where it is needed most. We were drawn to the team’s ability to turn assessment data into actionable insights for educators and targeted practice for students. Rua is proud to lead this round and support Yousef, Abdulaziz, and the AILA team as they scale Saudi-built AI education solutions for schools and education systems across the region and beyond.” said Turki Aljoaib, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Rua Growth Fund.

AILA is a Saudi EdTech company that uses AI to create learning tools for students, teachers and schools.

Its products offer personalized learning, smart assessments, practice exercises and performance insights. These tools help students understand what they already know, identify areas where they need improvement and learn at their own pace.
