Tel Aviv-based Scopio Labs raised $42Million for full-field digital cell morphology imaging and analysis platforms.
Leading the round, which raised the total to $130 million, was Fortissimo Capital, with participation from current investors.
The company plans to use the money to increase its worldwide reach and quicken its market penetration. This entails stepping up marketing and sales initiatives and improving customer service.
The money will go towards supporting the ongoing development of Scopio Labs’ digital morphology platform as well as the development of new solutions that cater to the changing requirements of hospitals and haematology labs.

Its platforms enhance patients’ access to life-saving medicines by facilitating the prompt detection of blood-related medical disorders by providing laboratory scientists and doctors with extensive and comprehensive knowledge of digital cell morphology.
It’s technology can provide previously unheard-of digital images of thousands of cells. Therefore, manual microscopy is no longer necessary because lab professionals have a full-field view of all clinically relevant locations on the sample at the maximum resolution.

Scopio provides blood cell analysis workflow efficiency intended to improve remote consultation and collaboration, speed up decision-making, and support patient care.
