ServiceNow Acquires Israeli AI Startup Sweep in Deal Worth Hundreds of Millions

Sweep develops technology that helps businesses automate work and manage processes more efficiently. Neither ServiceNow nor Sweep has officially announced the acquisition or revealed how much the deal is worth.

The deal comes less than two months after ServiceNow acquired another Israeli AI startup, ai.work, in a deal reportedly worth tens of millions of dollars.

ServiceNow has also made several other major acquisitions in Israel. These include cybersecurity company Armis, analytics company Pyramid Analytics, and AI observability startup Traceloop.

Sweep’s technology works with major business platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and HubSpot. Its software checks data across these systems to find problems, gaps, and delays.

The platform can also create documentation and give users useful information based on the work they are doing. This helps teams understand their systems and work more efficiently.

Sweep is also developing an AI-powered “agentic layer” that can suggest or make changes instead of only pointing out problems. The goal is to help AI take action inside business software, rather than simply analyze information.

The acquisition is part of ServiceNow’s larger plan to use AI agents and automate more business work. The company has recently bought several startups that focus on different parts of AI technology.

In July, ServiceNow acquired Israeli AI startup ai.work. The company was founded by former WalkMe executives Maor Ezer and Nir Nahum.

ai.work developed AI agents that can handle different internal business tasks. These include IT, operations, legal, human resources, procurement, travel, and finance.
