Supporting Enterprise Innovation Across Singapore
Singtel plans to extend network slicing and programmable connectivity to support industries that require reliable, low-latency communication. Potential applications include autonomous vehicles, industrial robotics, smart manufacturing, and intelligent logistics.
The companies will also explore opportunities to deploy advanced connectivity solutions at major infrastructure and industrial developments, including Changi Airport Terminal 5, Bulim Square, and upcoming developments by JTC Corporation.
Improving Consumer Connectivity Through 5G+
The partnership will also build on Singtel's existing 5G+ services to provide consumers with faster and more consistent connectivity.
According to Singtel, its deployment of 700 MHz spectrum has improved network coverage by up to 40%, particularly in indoor locations. In 2025, the company introduced 5G+ service tiers using network slicing to provide enhanced and priority connectivity in crowded areas.
Using AI to Build More Reliable Networks
Another key focus of the partnership is the integration of AI and machine learning into network management. The companies plan to explore ways to predict traffic patterns, allocate network resources more efficiently, and identify potential performance problems before they affect users.
They will also examine greater automation across radio access and core networks to improve service reliability, operational efficiency, and energy consumption.
