Skipr has raised $2 million in seed funding. The company is now valued at $10 million. This funding will help Skipr grow its operations from Hub71, a global technology hub in Abu Dhabi.
Skipr builds what it calls an “autonomous trust fabric” for the AI age. In simple words, it creates a secure system that allows different AI tools and systems to connect and work together safely.
Today, AI systems are working across companies, cloud platforms, and even different countries. The challenge is making sure these systems can safely communicate and cooperate without losing control over data. Skipr solves this by providing secure communication between AI systems while keeping data protected.
Skipr ensures that governments and businesses keep full control over their data and decisions. This is called “sovereign AI infrastructure,” meaning countries and enterprises can use AI without depending on outside control.
Skipr is already working with telecom companies, AI labs, cybersecurity teams, and data centers. Together, they are building secure AI services for governments and large enterprises. These early projects show that Skipr is becoming an important player in helping organizations prepare for an AI-driven future.
“This funding accelerates our work on what we believe is a foundational layer for the AI era,” said Andreas Hartl, CEO at Skipr Technologies. “As AI systems become autonomous and interconnected, secure AI-to-AI interoperability under sovereign control is no longer optional. We are building the trust infrastructure nations and enterprises need to deploy AI safely, confidently, and at scale.”
Skipr was founded in 2023 by Andreas Hartl, Adnan Fatayerji, and Weynand Kuijpers. They started the company to build secure systems that help AI technologies work better together.
