In a press statement, Spolto stated that the money raised would be used to expand its service area and cover additional urban areas.

Safa Soltani and Divesh Nathani co-founded Spolto in 2021 with the goal of empowering sports in urban India. The platform provides access to a variety of activities, including badminton, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, and newer games like pickleball. The firm wants to help urban Indians integrate sports into their daily lives by promoting grassroots sports development and recreational skill-building.

In order to meet the demands of the modern Indian customer, Spolto claims that it is about to improve its online presence. It aims to establish itself as India’s premier platform for sports skill development in urban areas by prioritizing ease of use and accessibility.

“At Spolto, we’re committed to expanding access to sports in urban India, helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds discover the joy and benefits of sports. This funding will enable us to grow our platform and empower more people to embrace an active lifestyle,” Safa Soltani, founder and CEO of Spolto and Divesh Nathani, COO of Spolto, said. 

Since its founding, the Pune-based business asserts that it has partnered with more than 1,200 trainers and academies in 12 different sports in Maharashtra.

In order to satisfy the demands of the contemporary Indian consumer, Spolto also intends to improve its online presence. Focusing on ease of use and accessibility, the company wants to become India’s leading platform for sports skill development in urban areas.

In order to provide access to a variety of sports in Maharashtra, including badminton, swimming, tennis, and gymnastics, Spolto has worked with over 1,200 trainers and academies in 12 different sports.
