How Much Funding Has Tarabut Raised?
The latest $50 Mn financing is Tarabut's largest disclosed funding round since its $32 Mn Series A in 2023. That round was led by Pinnacle Capital, with participation from Visa, Tiger Global, and Aljazira Capital.
Before the Series A, Tarabut had raised $25 Mn across Seed and Pre-Series A rounds in 2021. The company has also expanded through acquisitions, including UK-based account-to-account payments company Vyne in 2024 and Bahrain-based AI engineering company Servable in 2026.
Who Invested in Tarabut's Strategic Financing?
The latest financing includes Riyad Bank, X-Tech Fund managed by SAB Invest, GIB Saudi Arabia, Zamil Group, and Kanoo Ventures, the venture investment arm of Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group. Other regional institutions also participated in the financing.
The participation includes financial institutions already connected with Tarabut's infrastructure, strengthening its focus on the Saudi financial market.
Why the Funding Matters
Tarabut will use the new capital to deepen its operations in Saudi Arabia and develop end-to-end embedded finance journeys. These will bring customer verification, credit decisioning, and financing into a single digital process under partner financial institutions' brands.
A major focus will be SME financing. Tarabut's infrastructure allows lenders to combine traditional financial documents with real-time financial behaviour and cash flow data when assessing businesses. This can help lenders get a more current view of a company's financial position and reduce delays in financing decisions.
Who founded Tarabut?
Tarabut was founded in 2017 by Abdulla Almoayed who serves as its Founder and CEO. The company is headquartered regionally in Riyadh where it opened its regional headquarters in 2025. It also operates across Saudi Arabia the UAE and Bahrain.
Market and Business Growth
Tarabut has processed more than 5 billion API calls across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain. Its infrastructure is used across financial services products in Saudi Arabia.
The company has connectivity with major Saudi banks and works with financial institutions including Saudi National Bank, Alinma Bank, and SAB. Its technology has also been used by American Express Saudi Arabia for credit limit increase assessments.
Tarabut has also supported an SME point-of-sale lending product announced by Saudi National Bank and distributed through Geidea, while its partnership with SAB supports embedded finance services.
What Happens Next?
Tarabut plans to expand its embedded finance infrastructure and roll out further products and integrations in Saudi Arabia. The company is expected to announce the next phase of its platform in the coming months as it deepens its presence in the Kingdom.
Leadership Statements
“The institutions backing Tarabut are the institutions that run on our infrastructure. We built a regulated platform across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain, and this financing will allow us to take everything we have proven across the region and go deeper where it matters most: Saudi Arabia. The biggest prize is SME finance. Financial institutions want to serve more creditworthy businesses, and our infrastructure helps them turn real financial behaviour into a clearer picture for decision-making. Embedded finance will define the next decade of this region’s economy, and we are built to power it.”
Abdulla Almoayed, Founder and CEO of Tarabut
“Saudi Arabia is entering an important phase in the development of its financial sector, creating new opportunities for established institutions, family businesses and fintech companies to build together. Our participation in Tarabut’s strategic financing reflects our confidence in its capabilities and its commitment to deepen its presence in the Kingdom. By enabling financial institutions to better understand and serve creditworthy SMEs, Tarabut can contribute meaningfully to private-sector growth and the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.”
