In addition to angel investors Kevin Mahaffey (Lookout), David Cross (Rain Capital), Bryson Bort (SCYTHE), Travis McPeak (Resourcely), Matthew Honea (Forward Networks), and others, backers included Shield Capital, Pitango First, DNX Ventures, and Seedcamp.

Knostic is a provider of need-to-know based access controls for Large Language Models (LLMs), and was founded in late 2023 by cybersecurity veterans Gadi Evron (serial entrepreneur, formerly from Citibank and PwC) and Sounil Yu (former Chief Security Scientist at Bank of America).

The company’s knowledge-centric capabilities allow them to promote AI-powered innovation and expedite the adoption of LLMs throughout enterprises, all while maintaining value, security, and safety.
