Tune Protect Launches TPXtra Platform to Combine Insurance and Lifestyle Services

TPXtra Brings Insurance and Travel Services Together

TPXtra allows customers to access their insurance protection, services and benefits through one account. The platform also connects users with participating merchants that provide travel, mobility and lifestyle services.

Its first offering, Travel Beyond, focuses on travel protection and related services. Customers can customise their coverage according to their travel needs and budget, selecting the protection and benefits that suit their requirements.

Tune Protect Expands Its Direct-to-Consumer Strategy

TPXtra is developed by White Label Sdn. Bhd., the technology arm of Tune Protect. The platform supports the company’s Beyond Insurance strategy, which aims to expand customer engagement beyond the initial insurance purchase.

Previously, Tune Protect relied on partner booking platforms for many of its insurance products. TPXtra creates an additional direct channel through which the company can maintain customer relationships and provide access to services throughout their journey.

Merchant Partnerships and Future Expansion

Tune Protect is expanding its merchant network across travel connectivity, airport lounges, ground transfers and mobility services. The company is also exploring opportunities in telehealth, motor care and everyday lifestyle services.

For participating merchants, TPXtra provides an additional distribution channel to reach customers through the platform and Tune Protect’s wider regional distribution network. The company said several partners are already active on the platform and that it continues to welcome additional merchants and service providers.
