Startup Yalla Plus, situated in Riyadh, has announced the successful completion of its seed funding round, which raised $2.7 million.
Leading the round were Merak Capital, with participation from angel investors from the US and the Middle East as well as Khwarizmi Ventures and Isometry Capital.
Established in 2022 by venture capitalist and entrepreneur Bader Alnasser and serial tech entrepreneur Abdullah Alrabeh. Yalla Plus provides a comprehensive tech platform for cafes and restaurants with the goal of being the technological enabler for the hospitality and restaurant industry.
The company offers delivery solutions, payment administration, and client feedback processing all rolled into one integrated point of sale system.
Yalla Plus’s solution provides comprehensive data analytics to improve performance and operational efficiency. The company wants to reach 100,000 entrepreneurs in 50 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Currently, it supports thousands of entrepreneurs in 11 countries.

The CEO and co-founder of Yalla Plus, Abdullah Alrabeh, emphasized that the platform was created to support entrepreneurs in the hotel industry, drawing inspiration from the creative atmosphere created by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. He emphasized that they want to keep expanding by creating robust software that helps business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the world expand.

In the next five years, the company wants to grow into a Saudi digital giant that will support 100,000 entrepreneurs by attracting top talent from Saudi Arabia and around the world.
