BIGC Raises Bridge Investment to Build Global Entertainment OS
Oct 7, 2026 | By Carmela Catilo

Korean entertainment technology company BIGC has secured a bridge investment from Daesung Private Equity and Now IB Capital. This funding will help speed up the development of its Entertainment OS.
The investment was finalized on September 18 2026 after BIGC completed its Series A round. The company plans to use the capital to grow its global fandom data systems and artificial intelligence capabilities. It also intends to strengthen its platform for artists, entertainment companies and media intellectual property.
BIGC’s All-in-One Entertainment Platform
BIGC runs an "All-in-One Digital Venue" that combines services for K-pop and K-culture world tours into one single platform. These services include live streaming, merchandise commerce, fan marketing and fan data analytics. According to BIGC this approach replaces a system where artists and entertainment companies would have to work with many different platforms for each part of a world tour.
The company has shifted over time from offering just concert streaming to managing world-tour operations. Integrated world-tour contracts now make up 75% of BIGC’s revenue as the company says.
Revenue More Than Doubles for Three Consecutive Years
BIGC now has 3.9 million registered users across 232 countries and territories with international users making up 74% of its membership. The company also reported an 81% repurchase rate among users who have made at one purchase.
Year BIGC generated KRW 11.2 billion (about $9.39 million) in revenue based on Dealroom’s conversion of the company’s reported figure. That marked a 158% increase compared to the previous year* showing the third straight year where BIGC’s revenue more than doubled. Over the three years the company said its membership has grown by more than 700% every year on average.
Building an Entertainment OS With Fan Data
BIGC is using its entertainment platform and the large amount of data it has collected to build what it calls an “Entertainment OS.” To support this effort the company acquired the community blip, K-pop Radar and the intellectual property of music program THE SHOW. BIGC says the K-pop Radar data includes 1.3 billion fandom data points.
This data helps the company predict which cities could be good for concerts and where there might be revenue potential for artists. BIGC has also signed a Korean distribution agreement with Universal Music Korea. This partnership is expected to help the company expand beyond K-pop and into global pop intellectual property.
BIGC’s Technology and AI Capabilities
BIGC says its technology can reduce delays in streaming to about 0.5 seconds thanks to ultra-low-latency communication tools. The company also said its AI-based predictive traffic control technology managed traffic of up to 3 million users per second during voting for an awards ceremony. BIGC claims this technology helped lower server costs by 90%.
The company sees these innovations as part of a plan to apply artificial intelligence and digital transformation across the entire entertainment industry.
Use of the New Investment
BIGC CEO Mihee Kim said the company will invest the funds into its global fandom data and AI technologies. She added that the goal is to develop an Entertainment OS that connects world tours ticketing, live streaming and commerce.
“We will expand to artists and IPs " Kim said. She also mentioned that BIGC aims to build an AI transformation model for the entertainment industry. This model will be based on the technology and data developed through its work with K-pop.
