Roblox Appoints Joel Neoh as Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Oceania

According to the company’s announcement on October 30, 2026, Neoh joined Roblox in October and will serve as its senior-most business leader in Southeast Asia and Oceania. He will oversee regional strategy and work closely with local teams and business partners.

In his new role, Neoh will focus on expanding Roblox’s regional presence, developing partnerships, and supporting its creator community. He will also help local studios use Roblox’s platform and tools to grow their businesses and reach commercial success.

Another priority will be increasing awareness of Roblox among players and parents, with a focus on creating a safe and engaging digital environment.

Joel Neoh is an entrepreneur and investor with around 20 years of experience building technology businesses across Asia-Pacific.

He founded GroupsMore in Malaysia, which later merged with Groupon.

He also founded Fave, a Southeast Asian fintech and consumer payments platform that was acquired by Pine Labs in 2021.

His experience in technology, fintech, and regional business development is expected to support Roblox's growth plans across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
