OceanBase and MB Bank Sign MOU to Modernize Database Infrastructure

Through this partnership OceanBase will give its database technology to help MB Bank modernize its data infrastructure. The collaboration should help MB Bank keep business running make systems stronger and boost the size and speed of its IT infrastructure.

MB Bank will keep control over data management and everyday business operations. OceanBase will act as the core database technology provider.

The partnership will aim to modernize MB Banks database infrastructure and support MB Banks growing banking operations.

OceanBases distributed database technology is made to give availability, strong data consistency, scalability and performance. These features should help MB Bank build a reliable and future‑ready technology infrastructure.

The collaboration arrives as Vietnams digital economy keeps growing. The e‑Conomy SEA 2025 report by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company says Vietnams digital economy grew 17% in 2025.
