YoLearn.ai Raises $500K Pre-Seed Round led by DataAlpha.ai

Voice-first AI tutoring startup YoLearn.ai has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round at a $5 million valuation.

The funding round was led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from several angel investors.

The company will use the new funding to improve its AI tutoring platform and expand its presence in India's school education and competitive exam market.

The company will use the new funding to build its voice-based AI video tutor. This feature will explain concepts through speech and allow students to interact using a live sketchpad, making learning more engaging and easier to understand.

Founded in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai is an AI-powered learning platform that offers a more interactive and personalized learning experience for students.

Unlike traditional AI tutors that mainly use text, YoLearn.ai focuses on real-time voice conversations. Students can ask questions naturally, and the AI tutor responds with spoken explanations, drawings, and diagrams on a built-in sketchpad. This is especially useful for subjects that require step-by-step solutions, calculations, or visual explanations.

The platform also adapts to each student's learning speed, preferred language, and areas where they need more help, making lessons more personalized.

YoLearn.ai supports students from K–12, including CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, and various state boards. Most of its users are in Classes 9 to 12, and the platform helps them with both regular studies and exam preparation through AI-powered learning.

Another key feature is its multilingual support. Students can interact with the AI tutor in 22 Indian languages, including Hindi and Hinglish, making learning more accessible.

The platform also offers AI tutor personalities inspired by popular teachers. Partner schools can even create AI versions of their own teachers, giving students a more familiar and personalized learning experience.
