Former Delhivery and Cleartrip Leaders Raise $1.5 Million for AI Startup Profound

Profound, an AI startup founded by former Delhivery tech head Prashant Parashar and former Cleartrip executive Anuj Rathi, has raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round.

The funding round was led by Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital.

Several well-known angel investors also joined the round, including Swiggy CEO Sriharsha Majety, Swiggy co-founder Nandan Reddy, Razorpay CEO Harshil Mathur, CRED founder Kunal Shah, OfBusiness co-founder Bhuvan Gupta, and Zomato co-founder Pankaj Chaddah.

Profound will use the new funding to improve its AI platform, add more product features, and expand its services for both consumers and businesses.

Founded by Prashant Parashar and Anuj Rathi, Profound is building AI representatives that act like digital versions of professionals. These AI assistants are designed to represent and support users in their careers.

The platform learns about a person's skills, work experience, working style, and career goals through a 30-minute voice conversation.

Profound compares its AI representatives to talent managers for athletes, actors, and musicians. The AI helps professionals find opportunities, build their network, and grow their careers.
