Malaysian telecom company YTL Communications has signed two agreements with global companies Equinix and Transcelestial to bring AI cloud connectivity and laser-based wireless technology to Malaysia.
These partnerships aim to provide advanced technology solutions to businesses in Malaysia by improving connectivity and AI capabilities in a more sustainable way, YTL Communications said in a statement on Tuesday.

YTL Communications will allow international customers to access the YTL AI Cloud through Equinix, helping meet the growing demand for faster computing in the region.

With Equinix’s global services, businesses can securely and reliably access YTL AI Cloud for GPU-as-a-Service, giving them on-demand access to the latest GPUs for their AI needs.
The YTL AI Cloud is powered by 100% renewable energy from YTL’s 500MW Green Data Center Park, ensuring businesses can use AI without harming the environment, following global trends for responsible AI development.
