[FUNDING NEWS] India-Based Moxie Beauty has Secured $2.1 Million in New Round Funding

Fireside Ventures led a Rs 17.3 crore ($2.1 million) round for D2C haircare firm Moxie Beauty.

Angel investors Samir Singh (former Unilever CMO Personal Care, Chair Unilever Asia), Arjun Purkayastha, Suhasini Sampath (founder, Yoga Bar), Navin Parwal, and Sangeet Agrawal (founders, Mokobara) were also involved in the round.

The Gurugram-based firm raised $669K from Amplify Partners, OTP Venture Partners, and other investors in its seed round in April of last year.

The additional revenue will go into adding staff, developing new products, and broadening distribution networks.

Moxie Beauty was founded by Nikita Khanna and Anmol Ahlawat, and it produces salon-caliber hair care products specifically formulated for Indian hair types.

In addition to basic items like shampoo and conditioner, it provides leave-in and styling solutions to help with frizz and dryness.
