Fabrication Bazar is a manufacturing tech firm, and Ben & Gaws Private Limited, the company’s operator, raised $3 million in Physis Capital-led pre-Series A funding.
Inflection Point Ventures, an existing investor, and venture capital firm ICMG, based in Japan, also participated in the round.
Physis Capital led the investment, and existing investors Inflection Point Ventures and Japan-based venture capital ICMG also participated.
The company plans to utilize the money to hire more leaders for the team and expand its geographic presence into areas outside of India, particularly in the GCC and Southeast Asia.
Fabrication Bazar is an asset-light, tech-enabled production platform for industrial steel products that serves more than 400 clients across sectors. It was founded by CEO Dwaipayan Dutta and CTO Ankur Gupta.

Additionally, it is attempting to digitize its supply chain by offering a platform that centralizes all management, from shipping and quality assurance to procurement, in order to maximize the largely underutilized capacity of more than 1.5 million MSME fabrication vendors in India.
It collaborates with about 330+ fabrication vendors throughout India to increase production efficiency and shorten delivery times by dividing products into several sections and processing them concurrently thanks to its patented manufacturing tech-driven approach.
