Arrakis Security Secures $8 Mn Seed Round to Protect Enterprise AI Agents

As more companies use AI agents to access sensitive data, complete tasks, and make decisions on their own, Arrakis Security's platform aims to ensure these AI systems operate safely, securely, and under proper control.

The funding round was led by Hetz Ventures. It also attracted investments from Mati Staniszewski, CEO of ElevenLabs; Ofer Smadari, CEO of Torq; Amitai Ratzon, founder and CEO of Pentera; along with several senior executives from Palantir Technologies.

“You cannot secure a machine that thinks and operates differently from humans using security tools that were designed to monitor humans interacting with machines,” said Tal Baron, co-founder and CEO of Arrakis Security.

“Organizations are rapidly deploying AI agents that access CRMs, process financial data, execute workflows and make decisions autonomously, yet in most cases they have no way to understand what those agents are actually doing.”

Founded by Tal Baron, Omer Efrat and Ron Shani, Arrakis Security is an Israeli cybersecurity startup that helps businesses keep their AI agents safe and secure. Its platform tracks how AI agents access data, use company systems, and complete tasks.

The platform makes sure AI agents follow company security rules, prevents unauthorized actions, and reduces the risk of data leaks or misuse. As more businesses use autonomous AI agents, Arrakis Security helps them use this technology safely and with better control.
