BY Venture Partners Closes $60 Mn

BY Venture Partners has closed its third investment fund at $60 million to support early-stage artificial intelligence (AI) startups developing solutions for enterprise workflows. The new fund will focus on companies at the Pre-Seed to Series A stages, with investments of up to $1 million per startup.

Headquartered in Dubai, the UAE-based venture capital firm said the latest fund brings its total assets under management (AUM) to more than $200 million. The fund is anchored by the Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF), with participation from MultiLane, Transmed Capital, Idriss Family Office and other institutional and private investors.

Focus on AI Startups and Global Expansion

Fund III will primarily invest in AI-native startups building solutions to improve enterprise workflows. The firm aims to support companies with global ambitions and help them expand into international markets from an early stage.

BY Venture Partners has already invested in 15 companies out of its planned 40-company portfolio. Its existing investments include PQ Shield, Cosyne, Isometric, Huspy and Invisible.

The firm operates across more than 16 markets, with approximately two-thirds of its invested capital deployed outside the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), particularly in North America and Europe.

Institutional Investors Back Fund III

The Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) is the anchor investor in Fund III. Other participants include MultiLane, Transmed Capital and Idriss Family Office, alongside additional institutional and private investors.

Nader Albastaki, Managing Director of DFDF, said the investment reflects BY Venture Partners' ability to bring international AI companies to Dubai while helping regional founders access global markets.

He added that the partnership supports Dubai's Economic Agenda D33 by strengthening connections between local and international technology ecosystems.

BY Venture Partners to Support Lebanon's Startup Ecosystem

Alongside its investment activities, BY Venture Partners has secured a mandate, backed by MITAI, to manage and operate the Lebanese Angel Investor Network (LAIN).

The network aims to connect Lebanese founders with investors from the global diaspora and create more opportunities for early-stage startup funding.

As part of its commitment to supporting Lebanon's startup ecosystem, BY Venture Partners has pledged to reinvest 50% of its carried interest into initiatives that help rebuild the country's startup ecosystem.
