DoiT Acquires AI Cost Management Startup Attribute for $65 Million

DoiT, a company that helps businesses reduce and manage their cloud costs, has acquired Israeli startup Attribute. Attribute has developed technology that helps companies track and manage spending on AI and cloud services.

"Attribute's solution fits excellently with DoiT's product portfolio, and we already have mutual customers," said Zimmermann, CEO and co-founder of Attribute. "Organizations currently cannot see or fully understand what their AI and cloud spending is, and Attribute provides them with a complete picture of an area of enterprise spending that is growing rapidly."
"DoiT's data shows that monthly spending on AI is expected to triple over the next 12 months. Additionally, in a recent survey of 500 executives at large organizations, only 15% said they were able to calculate the ROI on AI, and many said significant budget overruns often occur because they do not know how much they are spending on AI."

Attribute was founded in 2023 by Izhak Zimmermann and Liad Tropp, both former employees of Unit 81. Zimmermann is the company’s CEO, while Tropp serves as its CTO.
Attribute’s technology gives businesses a real-time view of their spending on AI and cloud services. This helps organisations understand where their money is going and manage these costs more effectively.
The platform tracks the use of AI tokens, models, and shared cloud resources. It helps businesses understand their spending by showing costs for individual teams, products, features, AI agents, and customers.
DoiT is an Israeli-American technology company founded in Israel in 2011 by Vadim Solovey, who is the company’s CEO, and Yoav Toussia-Cohen. The company is now headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
DoiT serves more than 4,500 customers across 27 countries. Its customers include well-known companies such as Spotify, Booking.com, Akamai, FIFA, Perplexity, Raptive, and Claroty.
