Etiqa Insurance Singapore Appoints Claudia Soh as New CEO

Etiqa Insurance Singapore has officially appointed Claudia Soh as its new CEO, effective 14 August 2026.

Soh had already been serving as Acting CEO for the past six months while continuing her role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). During this time she helped the company achieve steady growth and move forward with its transformation.

Under her leadership, Etiqa focused on innovation, better operations, and improving the customer experience. The Board said her appointment shows its confidence in her leadership as the company enters its next phase of growth.

Etiqa Insurance Pte. Ltd. (EIPL) has been protecting customers in Singapore since 1961. It is a life and general insurance company licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The company originally operated in Singapore under the name United General Insurance Co. Sdn. Bhd. In 2009, it became the Singapore branch of Etiqa Insurance Berhad.

Today, EIPL is an important part of the Etiqa Insurance Group, a leading insurance and takaful provider in ASEAN. The company continues to provide insurance services to customers across Singapore.
