FPT and Microsoft Deepen AI Partnership to Accelerate Innovation Across Asia

The partnership combines Microsoft’s AI technologies with FPT’s regional expertise and large-scale delivery capabilities. Together, they aim to help organizations move beyond AI testing and implement AI solutions that deliver real business results.

The collaboration supports FPT’s AI-First strategy and Microsoft’s vision of human-AI collaboration. The goal is to help companies transform how work is done across engineering, operations, and business functions by using AI more effectively.

As part of the partnership, FPT will work closely with Microsoft as an AI Frontier Company. This means FPT will integrate AI agents into daily business operations and explore Microsoft’s latest AI technologies, including generative AI and agentic AI, to develop new enterprise solutions.

FPT currently has 30,000 AI-enabled engineers worldwide and is expanding its use of Microsoft tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot. The company plans to equip up to 20,000 developers with AI-powered development capabilities over the next three years to build a more productive and AI-driven workforce.

Through this deeper collaboration, FPT aims to become a leading example of AI adoption for enterprises. By serving as an early user of Microsoft’s AI platforms, the company hopes to show how businesses can move beyond simple productivity improvements and redesign their workflows around human-AI collaboration.

Together, Microsoft and FPT will develop AI adoption models that can be used across different industries. They aim to help companies move from small AI pilot projects to large-scale AI transformation, supported by Microsoft’s technology, training programs, and co-innovation resources.
