Vodex, the Gen AI startup situated in Bengaluru, India, has raised $2 million in seed money. Pentathlon Ventures and Unicorn India Ventures led the round.

With plans to launch Vodex 3.0 in a few months, the company hopes to use the cash for product and worldwide expansion activities, as well as business scaling in the upcoming year.

Vodex, a company co-founded by CTO Kumar Saurav and CEO Anshul Shrivastava, creates virtual sales representatives driven by generative artificial intelligence (AI) for automated sales processes and realistic, human-like dialogues. Businesses may improve sales and customer contact by using technology to engage customers in real phone calls.

Using an in-house Gen AI-powered solution, the company has been assisting businesses in the USA and Canada with their outbound calling needs since 2022.

Ema received $25 million in investment, the second-highest amount ever given to an early-stage firm in the Gen AI field. The generative AI startup Sarvam AI raised $41 million in December 2023 in a Series A round led by Lightspeed, in which Peak XV Partners and Khosla Ventures also participated.
