Mitsubishi Motors and FPT Japan Holdings Sign MoU to Explore Software and Digital Collaboration

The two companies are also considering the possible creation of a joint venture in the future to strengthen their partnership.

The automotive industry is rapidly changing due to new technologies such as CASE, artificial intelligence (AI), and Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). As a result, software and digital technologies are becoming more important for car companies.

To keep up with these changes and improve its long-term competitiveness, Mitsubishi Motors plans to continue exploring this collaboration.

Based on this MoU, the two companies will continue discussions about the exact areas of cooperation and how the partnership will work.
