NEXUS Signs Strategic MoU With Fasset

South Korean blockchain infrastructure company NEXUS has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai based digital finance company Fasset to explore cooperation in payment infrastructure and stablecoin settlement.

The agreement was signed by NEXUS CEO Henry Chang and Fasset CEO Mohammad Raafi Hossain at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 on September 30.

Payment Infrastructure and Stablecoin Cooperation

Under the MoU, NEXUS and Fasset will work on a joint proof-of-concept (PoC) to connect NEXUS’s payment infrastructure with Fasset’s fiat-to-digital asset conversion infrastructure.

The companies will also establish a joint task force to explore AED-linked and KRW linked stablecoin infrastructure. The task force is expected to meet quarterly to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

The partnership also covers the development of co-branded digital financial products and the integration of payment and settlement infrastructure.

Fasset’s Funding and Global Expansion

In August 2026 Fasset raised $68 million in Series C funding led by SBI Group, giving the company a reported valuation of $1 billion.

Fasset said its platform supports more than 3 million wallets and over 1,000 enterprise clients across 125 countries. The company provides infrastructure connecting different payment, banking and settlement rails.

Fasset CEO Mohammad Raafi Hossain said the partnership aims to connect payments, settlement systems and different financial rails across markets with stablecoins playing a role in improving cross-border financial connectivity.

NEXUS Expands Its Payment Infrastructure

NEXUS is developing infrastructure for the distribution, payment and settlement of games and digital content through its ONE ecosystem.

In June 2026, NEXUS brought ONE Store into its business as a subsidiary, strengthening its content distribution network. The company is also expanding its existing fiat-based payment infrastructure to support stablecoins.

NEXUS CEO Henry Chang said the company believes stablecoins need practical use cases and distribution to become competitive, adding that the partnership with Fasset will connect its global payment and settlement infrastructure with the ONE ecosystem.
