Indian women’s wellness brand Nua has raised $50 million in a Series C funding round led by Peak XV and Filter Capital. Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also participated.
The round includes both fresh funding and secondary transactions. As part of the deal, Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and some angel investors are selling part of their stakes.
Nua will use the new funds to build its brand, expand its reach and distribution network, and strengthen its research and development efforts.
Nua's founder & CEO Ravi Ramachandran said, “Since our inception, we have sought to address neglected needs in women's wellness through better-for-her products and a brand that genuinely speaks to today's young women and girls.”

He said the funding will help scale Nua's annualised revenue run rate from Rs 100 crore to ₹500 crore in 24 months, while remaining profitable. “As we look ahead, we will continue to anticipate the evolving needs of women and build products that make a meaningful difference to their everyday lives.”
Sakshi Chopra, Managing Director, Peak XV, said, “Women's wellness in India is a large and evolving opportunity, and Nua has demonstrated a strong ability to build a brand that resonates deeply with consumers.”
“The company has emerged as the fastest-growing brand in the category and the second-largest player online, demonstrating its ability to compete and win alongside much larger incumbents,” she added.
Founded in 2017, Mumbai-based Nua offers products across period care, maternity care and intimate care. The company says its products reach more than 3 million women and girls every month.
Nua initially started with period care products but has since expanded into other areas of women’s wellness. Its product range now includes period care, maternity products, skincare and intimate care.
The company has also added digital services to its portfolio. These include the Nua Period Tracker app and SecretKeeper, a chat-based platform.
