Ofload Acquires Queensland Freight Brokerage NTS to Expand National Network

The acquisition gives Ofload an established presence in Queensland and expands its freight network with additional volumes, including southbound freight lanes. The move will help Ofload strengthen its operations and serve customers and carriers across the state.

NTS co-founders Phil McConville and Grant Fisher will work alongside Ofload during the transition. Ofload’s Director of Integrations, Drew McKinnel, is relocating from Sydney to Brisbane to establish the company’s permanent Queensland office and support the handover.

For NTS customers and carrier partners, day-to-day services will continue as usual. They will also gain access to Ofload’s national carrier network and digital platform, with benefits such as simpler booking and rebooking, clearer reporting and improved visibility of freight movements.

Ofload CEO and Founder Geoffroy Henry said the acquisition is part of the company’s broader strategy to bring established freight brokers into its network as Australia’s freight market continues to consolidate.

The acquisition is supported in part by an AUD $50 million asset-backed trade receivables facility from GCI Funds, an Australian private credit manager. The facility will support Ofload’s organic expansion as well as selective acquisitions.
