Cybersecurity Startup Oligo Security Secures $60 Mn, Total Funding Reaches $140 Mn

Oligo Security, a company that develops runtime security solutions for applications, cloud workloads, and AI systems, has raised US$60 million in a new funding round.

SUMMARY

  • Oligo Security has raised $60 million in a new funding round.
  • The latest investment brings the company's total funding to $140 million.
  • The round included investors such as Ballistic Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, TLV Partners, and Eyal Waldman.
  • Founded in 2022, Oligo develops runtime security solutions for applications, cloud workloads, and AI systems.

With this latest investment, Oligo Security's total funding has reached $140 million since the company was founded.

The funding round included support from investors such as Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital, and TLV Partners. Angel investor Eyal Waldman, co-founder of Mellanox Technologies, also participated.

“AI has fundamentally changed the economics of exploitation,” said Nadav Czerninski, co-founder and CEO of Oligo Security. “When attackers can find vulnerabilities and build exploits at machine speed, runtime becomes the only place where you can definitively understand true risk and stop attacks without impacting production.”

Oligo Security was founded in 2022 by Czerninski, Gal Elbaz, and Avshalom Hilo.

The company specializes in runtime security, which protects software while it is running instead of only checking for security issues before it is launched.

The three founders are childhood friends and have worked in Israel's cyber and military intelligence units, including Units 8200 and 81 and the IDF's ICT Corps, giving them strong cybersecurity expertise.

Oligo Security's platform monitors software in real time while it is running to detect security threats and suspicious activity.

The platform identifies which security vulnerabilities can actually be exploited and helps detect and block cyberattacks without interrupting normal business operations.

By focusing on the most serious risks, the platform helps organizations manage fewer vulnerabilities and stay protected while they work on installing permanent security updates.
