PNB Partners With Green GSM to Help Expand Electric Vehicle Services

Green GSM Philippines and Philippine National Bank (PNB) have signed a strategic partnership to provide financial and digital banking services that will support Green GSM’s electric ride-hailing business in the Philippines.

This partnership is an important step in Green GSM’s plan to strengthen the infrastructure behind its all-electric transportation model. As the company expands into more major cities, it aims to build a sustainable and long-term electric mobility ecosystem across the Philippines.

In addition to the credit facility, Green GSM and PNB introduced digital account management and payment solutions for Green GSM's drivers. By using PNB's corporate banking platform and digital onboarding system, drivers can open and activate their accounts much faster. This helps Green GSM manage its growing driver network more efficiently as the company expands.

As more cities look for cleaner and lower-emission transportation options, strong financial services, digital payment systems, driver management tools, and efficient operating standards are becoming essential for large mobility platforms.

In the Philippines, Green GSM is developing its mobility business by combining technology, a fully electric vehicle fleet, and standardized operating systems. After partnering with Xentro Group in 2025 and launching the Green Xentro fleet in Rizal earlier this year the company has continued to grow through long-term partnerships with local businesses and financial institutions.

"We appreciate Green GSM's long-term development direction in the Philippines, not only in advancing low-emission mobility, but also in the way the company is building an operating model with scalability and clear governance foundations," said Mr. Edwin R. Bautista, President and Chief Executive Officer of PNB. "The transition toward sustainable transport will require ecosystems capable of supporting stable long-term growth, together with the financial and operational foundations needed to enable that expansion."

Ms. Le Thi Thu Trang, Chief Executive Officer of Green GSM Philippines, said: "For Green GSM, developing an all-electric mobility model is not only about expanding the fleet, but also about building an operating system that is stable, standardized, and capable of sustainable long-term growth. Our partnership with PNB will help strengthen the financial and operational foundations needed to enhance service quality and support Green GSM's continued expansion in the Philippines."

Green GSM runs its electric ride-hailing service by combining modern technology, efficient operating systems, and professionally trained drivers. The company also uses real-time monitoring and management systems to ensure consistent and reliable service across major cities.

The partnership with PNB supports Green GSM's long-term growth plans in the Philippines. It will help the company strengthen its operations, improve service standards, and provide better support for drivers while maintaining high service quality as the business continues to expand.
