Preventify raises INR 2 crore in pre-seed round led by PedalStart

Kerala-based healthcare startup Preventify has raised Rs 2 crore in pre-seed funding, led by PedalStart.

The round also included investments from several angel investors, such as Viren Shetty of Narayana Health, Jatin Kakrani of Dezy, the founders of Supertails and Agrizy, along with other senior leaders from India’s healthcare sector.

Preventify plans to use the funds to open its first 10 clinics, expand care programs for chronic and lifestyle-related diseases, and strengthen its technology, diagnostic, and pharmacy services.

“Healthcare in Tier-2 and Tier-3 India is not a problem of access anymore-it’s a consistency and continuity problem,” said Nirmal NR, Co- Founder and CEO- Preventify. “Patients often have access to doctors, labs, and pharmacies, but the care journey is fragmented and episodic. Our focus is on building standardised, protocol-driven and affordable care models that manage patients over time, especially for chronic conditions. This funding allows us to strengthen our clinical teams, expand our clinic clusters, and invest in systems that deliver reliable outcomes at scale”.

“Preventify is addressing one of the most critical gaps in India’s healthcare system-standardised and affordable chronic care outside metro cities,” said Manas Pal & Aditya Darolia, Co-founder, PedalStart. “The team has shown strong execution discipline, early clinical traction, and a clear understanding of how to scale healthcare responsibly. Their cluster-based approach and focus on longterm patient outcomes align closely with how we believe sustainable healthcare businesses should be built and we’re excited to support them as they scale”.

Founded by Nirmal NR and Dr. Rakesh, Preventify operates clinics focused on preventive healthcare and long-term disease management, especially in tier-II and tier-III cities.

The startup currently runs three clinics in Kerala and has treated over 40,000 patients, according to the company.

Preventify mainly supports patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and respiratory diseases through structured treatment plans. It combines in-clinic care with digital health monitoring and regular follow-ups.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, the startup plans to open more clinics across Kerala and hire additional doctors, nurses, care coordinators, and medical support staff. Preventify is also developing subscription-based healthcare programs to offer patients ongoing and continuous care.
