South Korea-based Rebellions Secures $124 Mn Series B Funding

Generative AI Chip Startup, Rebellions has secured $124 Mn Series B Funding. As a strategic investor, KT, a telecoms corporation based in South Korea, led this funding round. In addition to new investors Korelya Capital and DG Daiwa Ventures, previous backers Temasek's Pavilion Capital and Korea Development Bank took part.

With a total funding of more than $200 million, this investment propels the company to the forefront as the most financed semiconductor startup in South Korea. The additional funding from the deal will enable Rebellions to bring in more talent and quicken the development of Rebel, the Rebellions next-generation AI-chip that will enable it to run Large Language Models (LLMs) in conjunction with Samsung Electronics.
