Philippines-focused fintech company Salmon Group has secured $140 million in financing to expand its lending operations and introduce new financial products across the country. Salmon Group Secures $140 Million in Financing
The financing package includes $90 million in commitments from Spice Expeditions, WashU, and Moore, along with $50 million in bond proceeds. The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its existing financial services and support the expansion of its lending business in the Philippines.
The funding will also help Salmon expand its credit line and in-store lending operations. These services are part of its efforts to provide accessible financing options to consumers across the country.
Funding to Support New Loan Products
Salmon Group plans to introduce motorcycle loans and MSME loans as part of its next phase of expansion. The new products will extend its lending services to additional customer segments in the Philippines.
