Samsung SDS Expands AI Partnership with Google Cloud

Samsung SDS and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership. They want to take advantage of the growing demand for AI, cloud, and security services.

The announcement was made at Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas. Company leaders shared their plans to work together more closely.

They will mainly focus on industries like public services and finance, where strong data security and strict rules are very important.

The companies will use Google Distributed Cloud to meet needs like keeping data in specific locations, faster performance, and reliable systems.

Samsung SDS said it plans to add Gemini Enterprise into its Samsung Cloud Platform. This will help the company provide smart, AI-powered solutions to business customers.

The partnership will also grow into managed services, where both companies will work together. They will combine Google Cloud Platform with Samsung SDS’s industry knowledge to help more businesses use cloud and AI services.

In addition, they will improve security by working more closely together. They plan to connect Google’s Wiz with Samsung SDS’s security services to better detect and respond to cyber threats.

“This partnership will be a turning point in innovating regulated industries with agentic AI and sovereign cloud capabilities,” Google Cloud Korea President Ruth Sun said.

Samsung SDS Executive Vice President Lee Ho-joon, for his part, said the company “will support enterprise AI transformation by building secure and compliant cloud environments.”
