Saudi Arabia-based B2B automotive technology startup Autobia has Secures $12 million (SAR 45 million) in a Series A funding round led by Artal Capital, with participation from Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco.
The funding will support the company’s expansion across Saudi Arabia, strengthen its logistics network, and improve its technology and inventory financing solutions.
Autobia Connects Spare Parts Dealers With Suppliers
The company aims to address challenges in the traditional spare parts market, including fragmented supplier networks, product availability, inventory management costs, and limited working capital for dealers.
Through its platform, businesses can source spare parts from suppliers, manage orders, and access integrated delivery services. Autobia also offers flexible payment options that help dealers purchase inventory without paying the full amount upfront.

Funding to Support Expansion and Technology Development
Autobia will use the new funding to expand its operations across Saudi Arabia and strengthen its logistics and fulfilment infrastructure. The company also plans to advance its proprietary dynamic pricing technology, which can help businesses make pricing decisions based on factors such as product availability, demand, and market conditions.
Another priority is expanding its inventory financing solutions. These services allow dealers to spread inventory payments over time, helping them manage cash flow while maintaining the stock required to serve customers.
The platform also supports end-consumer payments through licensed payment service providers and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) providers, integrating financial services into its automotive spare parts marketplace.
The investment comes as Saudi Arabia continues to develop its technology, automotive, logistics, and financial services sectors under Vision 2030.
Previous Funding and Investor Support
Autobia previously raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round in 2023, led by Sadu Capital, with participation from Wa’ed Ventures, Raz Holding, Techstars, and angel investors, according to Wamda.
The latest Series A round brings additional capital to support the company’s expansion and development of its technology-driven services for automotive spare parts businesses.
Artal Capital’s investment reflects interest in business models that combine technology, operational services, and embedded finance to address the needs of traditional industries.
Leadership statement
“Our ambition goes beyond digitising auto parts procurement. We are building a technology platform infrastructure that gives traditional auto parts businesses the intelligence, efficiency, and tools they need to compete and grow,” said Emad Daghreri, Co-Founder and CEO of Autobia. Ahmed Alawfi, Co-Founder and COO, added: “A key part of that vision is expanding access to embedded financial services so our customers can manage working-capital constraints and grow with greater flexibility. We are proud to partner with investors who share our long-term ambition for the sector.”
“Autobia is addressing a large and underserved market through a differentiated model that combines technology, operational execution, and embedded financial services,” said Wassim Moukahhal, Head of Alternative Investments at Artal Capital. “We aim to support the founders’ vision and fulfil the platform’s potential to become a critical part of the automotive after-sales infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. We look forward to supporting Autobia through its next phase of growth.”
