VerifAIX Raises $5 Mn in Seed Round to Scale AI-Based Chip Verification Platform
Sep 16, 2026 | By Nguyen Minh

VerifAIX, an AI-native semiconductor verification company, has raised $5 Mn in seed funding co-led by Endiya Partners and Bluehill VC. The round is the company's first institutional funding and will support product development, customer deployments, and engineering team expansion across the US, India, and Israel.
SUMMARY
- VerifAIX has raised $5 million in seed funding, co-led by Endiya Partners and Bluehill VC.
- The company will use the funding to advance its Formal Brain and scale its AI-based chip verification platform.
- VerifAIX will also expand customer deployments and grow its engineering teams across the US, India, and Israel.
What is VerifAIX?
VerifAIX is building an AI-native platform for semiconductor design verification. Its technology helps engineering teams check whether chip designs meet their intended specifications, especially as AI becomes more involved in the design process.
At the centre of the platform is its “Formal Brain”, which creates a mathematically grounded understanding of a chip design and its intended behaviour. It works across specifications, RTL and verification assets to identify inconsistencies and gaps.

The platform combines AI-based reasoning with formal and simulation based verification. It supports verification planning, formal analysis, simulation, coverage, debugging, and verification closure while maintaining a link to the original design intent.
How Much Funding Has VerifAIX Raised?
VerifAIX has raised $5 Mn in seed funding, marking its first institutional funding round. The round was co-led by Endiya Partners and Bluehill VC.
The company has already deployed its platform with multiple semiconductor companies for real world verification challenges, including complex control-intensive and protocol heavy designs.
Who Invested in VerifAIX's Seed Round?
The $5 Mn seed round was co-led by Endiya Partners and Bluehill VC. The funding provides VerifAIX with capital to develop its technology further and support customer deployments.
Why the Funding Matters
VerifAIX will use the new funding to advance its Formal Brain and scale automated abstraction and decomposition for larger chip designs. It will also strengthen its formal verification and simulation capabilities.
The company plans to expand customer deployments and grow its engineering teams across the US, India, and Israel, with a focus on AI research, formal verification and semiconductor engineering.
Leadership Statements
“AI is changing how semiconductor designs are created, but generating a design is not the same as proving that it is correct. The industry urgently needs an independent layer of trust that can establish correctness and preserve traceability to design intent, and we’re building that. This funding enables us to deepen the technology, expand our engineering capabilities and take the platform to increasingly complex designs and a growing set of customers, said, Madhulima Tewari, CEO of VerifAIX.
“Semiconductor engineering is entering a fundamental transition, and there’s never been a more pressing need for independent verification. VerifAIX has the team, talent and method to preserve design intent and establish reproducible evidence of correctness in the semiconductor engineering stack, said, Medha Kannapally, Endiya Partners.
“VerifAIX moves away from the standard approach that primarily focuses on using AI to generate verification code, instead combining AI reasoning with deterministic, mathematically rigorous verification methods. It’s precisely the kind of innovation the industry needs to solve this challenge at scale as AI continues to redefine semiconductor engineering, said, Sridhar Parthasarathy, Bluehill VC.
Who founded VerifAIX?
VerifAIX was founded in 2024 by Madhulima Tewari, Kenneth Roe, and Avner Landver.
The founders bring experience across AI, semiconductor design, formal and functional verification, mathematical methods, EDA, and chip development. Dr Aarti Gupta, Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University, serves as Founding Consultant. Vin Dham, one of the pioneers behind Intel's Pentium processor, serves as Founding Advisor and investor.
Market and Business Growth
VerifAIX is already working with multiple semiconductor companies on real-world verification challenges. Its platform is being used for complex control-intensive and protocol-heavy designs.
The company is targeting semiconductor and IP companies, processor and AI accelerator developers, hyperscalers, and other custom-silicon developers.
What Happens Next?
VerifAIX will focus on advancing its Formal Brain and extending its verification capabilities to larger and more complex chip designs. It will also expand customer deployments and build its engineering teams across the US, India, and Israel.
