Israeli-founded venture capital firm Vintage Investment Partners has raised $920 million in new capital, taking its total assets under management to more than $4.8 billion. The fundraising comes as technology companies remain private for longer and investors look for more opportunities to invest in businesses before they enter public markets.
Vintage invests in venture capital funds and private companies. The firm also purchases existing stakes in funds and venture-backed businesses, helping investors access liquidity without waiting for a company to go public.
Vintage Expands Its Venture Capital Investment Strategy
Vintage supports venture capital fund managers and invests alongside them in portfolio companies. Its investment strategies include primary investments in venture funds, secondary transactions involving existing stakes, and co-investments in private companies.
The firm’s latest fundraising reflects growing demand for investments in private markets. As companies delay initial public offerings (IPOs), early investors and employees may have fewer opportunities to sell their shares. Secondary investments can provide a way to sell existing holdings without requiring companies to issue new shares or list publicly.

AI Growth Changes Private Markets
Artificial intelligence is contributing to changes in the venture capital industry. AI companies can grow rapidly while remaining private, allowing more business value to develop before an IPO.
According to the Q2 2026 PitchBook-NVCA Venture Monitor, cited by Vintage, three firms accounted for nearly half of all venture capital raised during the first half of 2026. This concentration has increased competition among investors seeking access to leading venture capital funds.
“More value is being created in private markets, over shorter timelines, than at any point in the history of venture,” said Asaf Horesh, co-managing partner at Vintage Investment Partners.
Vintage Reports More Than $1.1 Billion Raised in Three Years
Vintage said it had raised more than $1.1 billion over the previous three years across its primary, secondary and co-investment strategies.
“With more than $1.1 billion raised over the past three years across primary, secondary and co-investment strategies, we can support fund managers, companies and investors in more ways, while helping address the growing demand for liquidity across the venture ecosystem,” Horesh said.
The firm’s secondary investment strategy allows it to acquire existing shares from shareholders. This can help investors access cash while enabling private companies to remain private.
Vintage Strengthens Its Leadership Team
Alongside the fundraising, Vintage announced several leadership changes. Tzlil Kovetz has been promoted to partner after more than five years with the firm. Ilan Leiferman, who leads its Value+ platform, has also been promoted to partner.
Brachie Sprung has joined Vintage as chief investor relations officer. She brings two decades of experience in venture capital, fundraising and strategic communications.
