Global robotics company WIRobotics has raised KRW 95 billion (about US$68 million) in its Series B funding round.
The funding round was led by JB Investment with participation from InterVest, Hana Ventures, Smilegate Investment, SBVA, NH Investment & Securities, Company K Partners, GU Investment, and FuturePlay.
WIRobotics has been developing its humanoid robot platform, “ALLEX,” built on technology that helps robots understand and support human movement.
The company was recently chosen for NVIDIA’s “Physical AI Fellowship,” highlighting its strong technology and global growth potential. WIRobotics is also working with Amazon Web Services and NVIDIA to develop next-generation Physical AI technologies. In addition, the company is carrying out joint research and testing projects with global research organizations and automotive companies.
WIRobotics is developing its humanoid robots using real-world data and control technology gained from its wearable robotics business. Over the past three years, the company has collected user data from its walking-assist robot, “WIM,” and developed personalized support technology tailored to each user’s walking style and physical condition.
Now in its third year of commercial sales, the “WIM” robot has sold more than 3,000 units worldwide. The product has also expanded into markets including Europe, China, Türkiye, and Japan.
WIRobotics has seen strong revenue growth, increasing from KRW 560 million in 2023 to KRW 1.3 billion in 2024 and KRW 2.79 billion in 2025. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, the company already earned more revenue than it did during all of 2024. The “WIM” robot has also won CES Innovation Awards for three straight years, showing continued global recognition for its technology and product quality.
Founded in 2021 by Co-CEOs Yeonbaek Lee and Yongjae Kim, WIRobotics is a robotics company that creates wearable and humanoid robots using data about how people move.
