Zenergize Raises $4 Mn to Scale EV Chargers and Solar Inverter Manufacturing in India

The round also received investment from several angel investors and existing backers, including Nikhil Sawhney of Triveni Turbine, Varun Agarwal of Ellenbarrie, Shyam Bagri of Bagrry’s Holdings, Raoul Bajaj of Trafigura, Sunil Kalra, former Delhivery COO Ajith Pai, ex-Delhivery CBO Sandeep Barasia, Neo Group MD Nitin Jain, and New Bank CEO Hemant Daga.

Zenergize makes EV chargers and solar inverters. The company will use the new funding to increase production, invest more in research and development, and expand its sales and service teams across India.

Navneet Daga, co-founder and CEO of Zenergize, said, "The past year has demonstrated that world-class power electronics can be designed, manufactured and commercially viable in India. Our next phase is about building the manufacturing scale, engineering capability and customer partnerships required to make Indian technology globally competitive."

Zenergize was founded in March 2025 by IIT Bombay alumni Daga and Veer Karan Goyal. The company makes AC and DC EV chargers and solar inverters at its manufacturing facility in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh.

The startup currently produces around 2,000 solar inverters and 30–40 EV chargers every month. It is also planning to set up another manufacturing facility in the Delhi-NCR region.

Zenergize says most of its products are designed and made in India, including the PCBs and main power converter module. However, semiconductors are still mainly sourced from overseas.
