CapQuest Secures $1 Mn

Dubai-based fintech startup CapQuest has Secures $1 million in a pre-Seed funding round led by Oraseya Capital and AMKM Family Office. The company will use the funding to improve its equity management software, automate processes and expand its international presence.

CapQuest provides a platform that helps startups and established businesses manage ownership records, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), fundraising transactions and shareholder communications.

CapQuest to Improve Its Platform

The latest funding will support product development and enhance CapQuest’s equity management tools. The company plans to introduce greater automation and expand its commercial operations as it builds its presence in international markets.

CapQuest aims to simplify equity management by replacing spreadsheets and manual processes with a centralised platform. Businesses can use the software to track ownership changes, manage employee equity plans and maintain shareholder records as they grow.

CapQuest Expands Across 11 Countries

CapQuest serves customers across 11 countries, with a focus on the Middle East, Europe and other emerging markets. Its customers include Holo, Erad, Avenia and Teylor.

The company initially focused on the Middle East and Europe but has also attracted customers from markets such as Brazil, Singapore and the United States through referrals and inbound enquiries.

CapQuest was developed after co-founders Antoine Bruna and Marco Banfi experienced equity management challenges at Repeat, a restaurant technology business they previously co-founded.

CapQuest Plans Further Product Development

Alongside its existing equity management features, CapQuest is developing a data room with document-sharing analytics and more structured investor reporting tools. These features are intended to help founders organise fundraising documents and keep investors informed.

The company follows a pricing model based on the number of stakeholders managed through its platform. As businesses add employees and investors, their subscription costs increase.

Bruna also revealed that CapQuest is preparing for a separate $2 million Seed funding round. The planned round is intended primarily to accelerate the company's commercial expansion.
