Cornerstone Appoints Brenton Smith as Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan

Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. has appointed Brenton Smith as Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). The company said this move will strengthen its leadership team in the region.

In his new role, Smith will lead the company’s growth plans across Asia Pacific and Japan. He will also work on building stronger relationships with customers and partners while helping expand Cornerstone’s presence in important markets.

Brenton Smith has many years of leadership experience in the technology sector. He is known for helping businesses grow, managing strong teams, and expanding software companies across the Asia Pacific region.

Before joining Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., Smith spent seven years at BMC Software, where he led the company’s business operations across Asia Pacific and Japan from Australia and Singapore. He has also worked closely with customers to use AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and agentic AI in business environments.
