  • Databricks is strengthening its partner network to support growing demand for AI and agentic AI.
  • The company now works with 8,000+ global partners, including 1,000+ across APJ.

In her new role, Briscoe will lead the growth of Databricks' partner network across the APJ region. She will work with cloud providers, system integrators, software companies, and technology partners to help businesses expand their data, analytics, AI, and agentic AI solutions.

Briscoe has 30 years of experience in building and growing partner ecosystems across Asia Pacific. Before joining Databricks, she worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she led the APJ Partner Core team. She has also held leadership positions at Microsoft and Cisco.

Her appointment comes as more organizations across Asia Pacific and Japan invest in agentic AI. Businesses are looking for trusted partners to help them deploy AI securely, manage complex data systems and overcome the shortage of AI-skilled talent.

To support this strategy, Databricks recently launched the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN). The global program is designed to help partners bring data and AI solutions to customers more quickly.

Databricks works with more than 8,000 partners worldwide, including over 1,000 in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). These partners help businesses build, deploy, and scale data and AI applications more effectively.

Kori O'Brien, senior vice president, Global Partnerships, Databricks, said, "Enterprise AI is no longer just about choosing the best model. It's about giving that model the right enterprise context through a unified, governed platform, and that value is created together by Databricks and our partners.

"Briscoe's leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in our ecosystem and help partners create the next generation of AI solutions across the region. She brings an exceptional track record of helping partners build successful technology businesses and create greater customer impact."

Briscoe said, "APJ is home to one of the world's most dynamic AI markets, spanning different industries, regulatory environments and stages of AI maturity, making strong local partner expertise more important than ever.

"I am excited to join Databricks at such a crucial moment and work alongside our valued partners. Together, we can help customers deploy AI with confidence, advance innovation and deliver lasting business value."
