Loora, an AI-powered English-learning app, has raised $22 million in a Series B funding round. The app has more than 15 million users worldwide.

With this latest investment, Loora’s total funding has reached $43 million.
The company will use the new funding to hire more employees. Loora plans to double its team to 60 people within the next six months.
Most of its employees will work from Loora’s offices in Tel Aviv.
“Those who already speak English tend to underestimate the scope of opportunities it unlocks,” said Roy Mor, Loora’s CEO. “For most of the world, English is the most significant gateway to advancement, a better job, university admission, or a completely different future.”

The app uses AI to help users practice speaking, have conversations, and build their English skills easily.
