Mobile gaming startup Spill Games raises $3.1 million seed round

Mobile gaming startup Spill Games has raised US$3.1 million (about ₹28 crore) in its seed funding round. The round was led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, with support from its existing investor All In Capital.

The company plans to use this money to attract more users, build a stronger brand, and hire more employees to grow its team.

Founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg, Spill Games is a Bengaluru-based startup that focuses on casual and puzzle games. It currently has five games: Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, Zen Math Crossword, Bird Rescue Jam, and Grill Master.

The company earns money through in-game ads and purchases made by players inside the apps.

Over the next 18 months, Spill Games plans to test more than 20 new game ideas and launch 5 to 10 successful ones.

Earlier, in December 2024, the startup raised $750K from investors like All In Capital, M-League, and some angel investors.

This new funding comes at a time when India’s gaming industry is growing slowly. The slowdown happened after the government banned real-money gaming, which led to less investment and higher losses for many companies.
