Zenity Raises $125 Million Series C to Expand AI Agent Security Platform

AI security startup Zenity has raised US$125 million in a Series C funding round to expand its platform that helps businesses secure AI agents.

SUMMARY

  • Zenity raised $125 million in a Series C funding round.
  • The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners with support from new and existing investors.
  • Founded in 2021, Zenity helps businesses secure, monitor, and manage AI agents in the workplace.

The funding round was led by Norwest Venture Partners. New investors including Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures also joined the round. Existing investors DTCP, Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, and Intel Capital also participated.

With this latest investment, Zenity's total funding has reached around $185 million, giving the company more resources to strengthen its AI security platform and support its future growth.

Most of the funding is new investment going directly into the company. The round also includes a small secondary sale of about $10 million, allowing some employees and founders to sell a portion of their shares.

Kliger said: "The world of AI is exploding. Every organization is deploying off-the-shelf AI agents or developing its own. Securing those agents and the actions they perform is becoming critical to successful AI adoption. It's time for us to accelerate our growth."

He added: "We already generate tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue. We're one of the leading companies in this market, and we've tripled revenue in each of the past two years. We're on track to triple it again this year because demand for AI agent security is growing rapidly."

"The market is competitive, and competition helps educate customers," Kliger said. "But we've been building this platform for several years. Today our capabilities are significantly ahead of many newer entrants. Our sales speak for themselves, and our technology is differentiated by what it can do while AI agents are actually running."

Founded in 2021 by Ben Kliger and Michael Bargury, Zenity is a cybersecurity startup that helps companies protect and manage AI agents used in the workplace. Its platform finds security risks, monitors AI agents, and makes sure they follow company policies and industry regulations.
